Live Audio Engineering Training

Learn live audio engineering on real touring equipment with the STM Production Black Belt program for audio engineers. The program is built for beginners who want a solid start and for working engineers who want to sharpen their skills on digital consoles, wireless systems and PA tuning. Training is hands-on and takes place on the Midas M32.

What’s included

• Six hands-on workshops in three belts: Yellow, Green and Black
• Live sound and stage setup, signal flow and gain structure
• Midas M32 operation and digital routing
• Mixing techniques and signal processing for FOH and monitors
• Monitors, wireless and in-ear systems, and show operation
• PA systems, acoustics and measurement: system setup and tuning
• Live production and a final practical, including troubleshooting under show conditions
• A certificate for each workshop and a full program certificate after all six

Beginners who want to start in live sound, musicians and technicians who run their own shows, and working engineers who want structured practice on current touring equipment.

How it works

1. Choose your format: in-person workshops at STM Production in Jbeil (or hybrid), or the online course
2. Each workshop is six training hours with hands-on practice, led by program coordinator Serge Tanios and experienced instructors from the live sound industry
3. Complete the workshops to earn individual certificates and the full program certificate
4. Certified graduates may be considered for collaboration with STM Production
